Week 24

                                               Great Things From the Week: Thank you for getting second trimester report cards complete! Roe or I will send you an email letting you know we reviewed them and they are good to print. This time around there is a "At Risk of Retention" that is automatically marked and Title 1!!! Thank you to the entire team for doing such a great job last week. Early dismissal went well, thank you all for helping out. The Math Practice walk went well, thank you Gainer, Pham and Hawthorne. Thank you Shelley for keeping the Tiger Store running, thank you staff for continuing to give points out. This Wednesday, the 26th, we will have a very large group from the district walking the site. We will be in Sanci's room, 24, for most of the time. They will arrive at the side gate and go to room 24. We will have a sign in sheet...

Thank you Lori and Amy for setting up all the Observation dates, IEPs and calendars in general - please make sure as you are planning activities, especially end of year, your talk with these two and make sure the calendar is clear.                                                Great Things From the Week: Congratulations Anne Peterson on becoming a Grandmother! Welcome to the Harrison family Scarlett. Sarah and I walked most classes on Friday- Thank  you for posting your "Big Ideas" and Essential Questions. Thank you all for your support with ELPAC and Miles for Smiles Thank you to the STEP team for your compassion and taking care of all kids. I know the job can be a lot. You are appreciated. Week 21

                                               Great Things From the Week: Congratulations to our spelling bee champions. Marlerie Umana took 3rd place for the entire district!!! Thank you all for those who participated and supported the 100% attendance all in day. We only had 24 students absent on Friday. Teachers just as a reminder - students are not late for school if they are in the gates before the bell rings. If students get to school on time, they are on time. If they are coming to class several minutes after the second bell rings without a tardy slip, there may be an additional concern (such as walking slowly, taking a detour, etc). If you have any of these students lets talk if you need support. It is also important that when students are late, or absent that we use positive incentives to get them to come on time and everyday.
