You are the best team in RUSD, I brag about you all the time. You are the rockstars, your keep this school running, the walls standing, the kids healthy and loved. Dr. Hansen Visit-

Dr. Hansen will be here Wednesday March 11th. We will try to visit every classroom. Feel free to come say hi as you see him. Please have your students engaged in a standards based activity during his schedule classroom visit time.  They are really looking for student centered, student collaboration in classrooms, especially in math. This is our opportunity to showcase the best of our school. We will follow the schedule, if we do not come in during your window we will not come in.

9:15-9:55- Forth, Fifth and Sixth Grade

9:55- 10:25 - Kindergarten and First Grade

10:25-11:00 - Second and Third Grade

Please let me know right away if you have a conflict

Perfect Attendance and all in attendance day

We will be doing a drawing for Perfect Attendance third trimester. Fliers went home, please help advertise. Perfect attendance is all day everyday, excluding being sent home by Harrison. There are occasional exceptions due to unavoidable events such as a death in the immediate family or religious reasons. If this is the case, please ask the parents to bring it to our attention so we can code their absences appropriately and they can still be eligible for the drawing.
1 bike and 3 scooters Tk-2
1 bike and 3 scooters 3-6
Helmets included - Thank you Spark of Love and Alice for getting this opportunity to students.

All In Perfect Attendance Day
March 13th - all students in attendance that day will participate in a DJ party that day.

Please let me know if there are conflicts with your times - schedule to come Monday

Student books/supplies/computers

All students need to have access to text books and classroom assignments. If students are taking books home, it is our responsibility to make sure they have access to content in the classroom in the event that they leave them at home. Perhaps letting students take books home is a routine to revisit, if they are leaving them at home.
If your assignments are posted online, students need to have access to that. If a student breaks their Chromebook please let Shelley know right away. We have to fix or replace them. Just like we would do with a broken or destroyed textbook. There are some ways we can charge or provide a consequence  for a broken or misused Chromebook, but we can not take it away from a student for the school year.

If you need more clarification, or to talk through strategies please let us know we are happy to help.
